廖常锐,博士,深圳大学特聘教授,博士生导师,广东省光纤传感技术粤港联合研究中心副主任。入选国家优青、广东省杰青、广东省特支青年拔尖人才、深圳市优青和深圳大学荔园优青。本科(2005)和硕士(2007)毕业于华中科技大学,博士(2012)毕业于香港理工大学。2012年10月至今在深圳大学工作,先后担任讲师、副教授和特聘教授。
研究方向:光纤传感与成像技术、飞秒激光微纳加工技术。主持国家基金委优青、国家基金委面上、广东省国际科技合作、深圳市基础研究重点等项目13项。在Light: Science & Applications、Optics Letters、Optics Express等期刊上发表SCI论文170余篇,SCI总引用4800余次,H指数41,10篇论文SCI引用超100次,单篇最高SCI引用192次,入选全球前2%顶尖科学家终身科学影响力排行榜(1960-2019)。授权中国发明专利7项、美国专利4项。获2017年度深圳市自然科学一等奖、IEEE ICOCN 2016 青年科学家奖、2019年度深圳大学优秀硕士生导师,指导研究生获国家奖学金8人次。
